Age: 17 (I used to think that 17 was really old, but now I am not so sure :)). Hometown: Whenever others ask where I am from, I usually say California, because I grew up in the LA area, but right now I am living in St. Charles, Missouri. Family: Paul (Dad), Barbara (Mom), John Paul (14), Cheryl (13), and Gorden (9). Favorite things to do: I really enjoy reading and writing letters and emails to and from my friends, proofreading Christiana, crocheting doilies, helping my dad with projects, playing my cello in the local orchestra, working on my scrapbook, and working with children. Favorite food: quiche, lasagna, cheese cake, and pecan pie. Collects: unusual, pretty stamps, thimbles, pretty spoons, family tree information, recordings of melodious, triumphant music, scripture/encouraging plaques. Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 37:5 "Delight thyself in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Place I would love to go: Russia, Versailles (to visit Rachel :)), California (to visit relatives), the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains. What I want to be: A woman of God, an example of the believers, a virtuous woman, a humble, Godly mother. Things I dream of doing someday: Teaching piano/cello, going on missions trips to foreign countries, working with Russian orphans. Favorite color: Hunter Green (because I goes so well with my hair color). Favorite book: God's Smuggler, God's Smuggler to China, The Hiding Place, China Cry, and other books about courageous, Godly missionaries who laid down their lives serving the Lord. Favorite movie: Treasures in the Snow, The Sound of Music, Home Movies Favorite speaker: David Barton, Roger Magnuson, Elizabeth Elliot, T.P. Johnson. Favorite experiences: Singing with a 5000 voice student choir at a training conference, Playing with the 100 piece student orchestra at the same conference. Hero: Rebekah Greenlaw, who has developed a wonderful working relationship with her younger brother, Robert, and now works as a team with him, ministering to children around the world. Goal in life: To become more like my Savior, and to serve Him in all that I do and say. A scary experience: Nearly causing an accident by misjudging a curve on the highway while driving too close behind a semi truck. An interesting experience: Visiting a friend overnight and watching her pull clothes out of her dresser, the next morning, that matched the ones that were still in my bag - purple turtleneck and jeans. My goal in life: I
want to look back on my life when I die and say that I have influenced
as many children as I could to follow the Lord Jesus Christ by my words,
actions, and attitudes.
